This week's comic is in reference to the book A Whole New Mind by Daniel H. Pink, which I'm currently reading on recommendation from a friend. It's pretty interesting and he makes some really great, well thought out arguments in a very easy to read manner. I'm about halfway through and am throughly enjoying it.
