I just finished up my very last day doing character art on Superjail. Ten episodes completed over the course of nine months on top of art directing three books, doing my weekly comic, dealing with production and promotion of two foreign editions of Mr. Wiggles books, writing and drawing a two page comic for a friend's magazine, teaching my weekly class at Parsons, completing three drafts of the movie I'm writing, taking night classes in Italian and Film, and doing the odd illustration assignment here and there, not to mention the permanent tumultuousness that is my personal life. Holy. Crap. I am exhausted.
I will be taking a much needed vacation for the next month and a half. I'll still be doing and posting the weekly Mr. Wiggles comic and my monthly one for FHM Russia, but that's about it. I hope to spend a little more time on this blog now that I'll have free time (it feels weird to even say those words: "free time") and working on some personal things and projects as well as just enjoying life and hanging out with friends and family. Come September, you'll find me hard at work and productive again on commercial work.
Superjail premiers this Fall (October 11th I think?) on Adult Swim on Cartoon Network. You will love it.
Good news for all my Russian fans (and for me too as well)! Original Mr. Wiggles comics will be published monthly in FHM Russia starting in the September issue. I'm working on my first comic for them now.
